오늘은 the를 쓰는 명사,

안 쓰는 명사를 정리 해 볼까 합니다~

 

어떤 명사는 the를 붙여야 하고, 어떤건 안 써야 하는데..

어떤 것들이 있는지 파헤쳐 보자구요!

 

 

 

 

 

 

<  명사 앞에  the를 쓰는 경우 > 

# 세상에 하나뿐인 것 (유일한 것)

the world

the earth

the moon

the sun

 

ex) Carol felt all alone in the world.

캐롤은 세상에 저 혼자뿐인 것처럼 외로웠다.

 

 

 

 

# 자연 

the sky

the ocean

the sea
the mountain(s)

 

ex) The sky was clear and studded with stars. 

 하늘은 맑고 별은 총총했다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

# 순서를 나타내는 서수

the first

the second

the third

 

ex) We got creamed in the first round.

우리는 첫 라운드에서 완패 당했다.

 

 

 

 

# '연주하다'는 뜻일때의 악기

the piano

ex) He learnt to play the piano at an early age. 

그는 어린 나이에 피아노 연주를 배웠다.

# 학과목/언어

English

Chinese

 

ex) English is written with a capital ‘E’. 

English는 대문자 E로 쓴다.
